Training for Healthcare Providers

Since 2020, TibaSalama team has been voluntarily providing training to healthcare providers in various regions of Tanzania, particularly in rural areas. Through partnerships with both national stakeholders, including the Government of Tanzania, and international partners, we have reached over 800 healthcare professionals. This training program targets nurses, midwives, doctors, traditional birth attendants, and leaders of health facilities in areas where access to healthcare is often limited and opportunities for training are scarce. TibaSalama implements this through its #3D model, emphasizing the delivery of quality and timely services to healthcare providers without delays, which can lead to maternal and child health complications or fatalities.

These training sessions are conducted through various methods, including online platforms and in-person workshops. The workshops focus on enhancing the quality of healthcare delivery, ensuring that services are provided promptly and professionally. The ultimate goal is to ensure that pregnant women and children aged 0-5 years receive timely and quality care, with a strong emphasis on professional ethics and service excellence.
