TibaSalama Digital Health App provides maternal referral services to ensure that pregnant women and new mothers receive specialized, accurate, and timely healthcare, aiming to improve health outcomes and efficiently utilize healthcare resources. This process occurs when a woman is in need of healthcare services, particularly during the early weeks of pregnancy and when she is preparing for childbirth. TibaSalama plays a crucial role in connecting them with healthcare providers at government health facilities to receive appropriate and timely care, ensuring their safety. We also continuously remind them to adhere to the healthcare advice provided by professionals.

Additionally, we ensure early clinic visits once pregnancy is detected to prevent complications during childbirth. We conduct these services through specially trained Community Health Workers (CHWs) equipped with specialized training and tools for emergency healthcare services for pregnant women and children aged 0-5 years, as many of them reside and operate within the project’s target areas.
